About Us
Advancing The Seed is a California 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, established in April 2015, to engage in the process of building healthy communities by providing career pathway coaching, training and developing. We seek to harness the energy of adolescents and young adults and leverage it for positive outcomes revolving around rebuilding their lives, families and communities, which includes understand public policy and community engagement.
Our vision is to advance the economic stability of individuals by coaching, training, and developing them for a skilled workforce.

Our Impact
In Janury 2016 we piloted a program at the Orange County Youth Center-North (OCYC) where we presented self-development workshops and group career coaching to 28 youth and young adults that were enrolled in the OCYC program. The pilot was very successful, with 72 percent of the students deciding to pursue higher-education with defined career paths and 21 percent deciding to pursue business ownership. Prior to our work with the students, a pre-test showed that 80 percent of the students were unsure of career or educational goals, and zero percent were interested in entrepreneurship.
